The Feast , with its multiple shades and characters, which
took place in the pleasant and prestigious surroundings of Villa Audi
succeeded in joining the charms of the East with the subtleties of the
West.
Conceived and executed in 17 different ways, by 17 of our best architects
and designers, it promoted the multiple character of the Lebanese culture,
and stimulated artistic creations.
Each artist gave the best of himself, of his knowledge and creative touch,
in the space reserved for him at Villa Audi.
The exhibition, opened for the public, achieved great success. Artists,
students in Fine-Arts and amateurs flocked in, to penetrate through:
The
light and spirit, untangible restful landmark, a must passage
towards emotion, by Jean-Louis Mainguy;
and to discover:

delight of smell and colors, by Paula Acra;

of rest, a tent on the road of Persepolis, by Serge Brunst;

The inauguration of the exhibition, on June 7, 2002, was followed by
an enjoyable evening at 9:00 p.m. in the enchanting gardens of SOFIL.
The program for this evening included:
A welcoming word from the President of the National Heritage Foundation,
Mrs. Mouna Haraoui, who thanked all those who contributed, by their moral
and financial support, their creativity, expertise or gracious services,
to the realization of this project.
A concert presented by Opera Beirut, with the participation
of Penny Pavlakis, Australian soprano, and six young talented Lebanese

The proceeds of this event enabled the Foundation to finance its projects
