The Beirut National Museum is recognized as one of the important museums in the Middle East, reflecting the history of 18 prestigious and glamorous civilizations. This Museum was internationally renowned for its Phoenician, Greek, Roman and Byzantine sarcophagi and statues, as well as for possessing the world’s rarest collection of Phoenician and Arab jewelry among many other priceless treasures 6000 years old.
