On Thursday May 21, 1998, the National Heritage Day was celebrated for the first time in Beirut, followed by Tripoli, with the cooperation of the Association for the Safeguard of Tripoli’s Heritage.

To mark this event, the Foundation launched the “Spring Heritage” a series of guided visits to various regions and sites throughout the country, with the help and cooperation of several associations.

It also comprised a photo contest revealing new and unknown sites of North Lebanon.
